LHESP prevention and control of zoonosis symposium & prevention and control of ruminant diseases training was conducted in Wulong, Chongqing, Aug. 10, 2009

Promoting the “One World, One Health, One Medicine” concept, the symposium brought together the Ministries of Health and Agriculture to present information on zoonotic diseases, discuss their respective roles, and how these roles can be integrated. This led to a better "One Health" policy development for more effective control and prevention of zoonotic diseases and supporting the greater global public health goal of the OIE.
