According to LHESP plan, Yanbian Animal and Husbandry Bureau organized the training course at Antu County of Yanbian Prefecture during Sept. 6-15, 2006. The training was mainly on animal disease prevention and control on diagnosis and testing capacity, as well as the way of using and safe keeping vaccine. The course duration was 10 days which was divided into two parts, the first part focus on the epidemic disease prevention, and the second part focused on lab practice.
The two trainers invited by Yanbian AHB were experts of Yanbian University Agricultural College and the Animal Decease Quarantine Center, while the 54 trainees came from the AHB and general Vet. Station of the prefecture and the vets stations of 7 countries, including Longjing (the pilot county) in the prefecture, as well as the staff working at Animal disease supervision station, Animal disease monitoring station at the border, Animal disease quarantine, animal disease protection of highway and aviation.
The course got warmly welcome by the participants, who learned a lot of updated information concerned, particularly the practical part was very helpful for their operation work. Some of them said such a good course had not been held for many years, and appreciated the great support provided by the project. |
