This international symposium was organized by the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD), ZJU, with the sponsorship of the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD), ZJU, the Department of Rural Economy, University of Alberta, Canada, and the Institute of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Tsukuba, Japan, along with the co-sponsorship of the Journal of Chinese Rural Economy, the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), and the Y.C. Tang Disciplinary Development Fund, ZJU. 

Documents from the symposium, including presentation slides, papers and abstracts, are provided based on the Symposium Program. The data after the name of the paper indicates the type of file involved after it has been unzipped, and the file size of the zipped download file.
